For all other types of road tests you must visit a motor licence issuer to pre-pay and then call 1-844-TLK-2SGI (1-844-855-2744) to schedule the appointment.
Written exams are conducted through our driver exam offices. Walk-ins are accepted in Regina and Saskatoon, but appointments must be made in other areas of the province.
The cost for all written exams is $10.
Note: If you are taking driver training through a Saskatchewan high school driver education program, you will write your exam at completion of the program with your class.
You can book your road test appointment before you turn 16, but you must be 16 or older on the date of your exam and have completed your 9-month learning period.
Class 5 and motorcycle road tests can be booked through a motor licence issuer or can be booked online with MySGI:
- Schedule and pay for your exam at a motor licence issuer. You can also phone them directly.
- Bring your learner's licence and driver education certificate to the driver exam office on the date of your appointment. See tips on Preparing for your road test.
The cost is $22.
