This official Saskatchewan licence plate to honour Memorial Cross recipients is a single plate that goes on the rear of the vehicle.
Note: If you have a Memorial Cross plate on the rear of your vehicle, you can't display a different plate on the front of your vehicle, including a personalized plate.
The Memorial Cross is an award that has been granted since 1919 to the loved ones of Canadian Armed Forces personnel who died in service or whose death was attributed to their service. It is granted by the Government of Canada and is frequently referred to as the Silver Cross.
The licence plate is available to Memorial Cross recipients. Memorial Cross eligibility is determined by the Department of National Defence and Veterans Affairs Canada.
Memorial Cross plates can only be used on light vehicles registered or jointly registered with a spouse in an approved Memorial Cross recipient's name.
