Carbon monoxide poisoning is an ever-present danger when you operate a motor vehicle. It is odourless, colourless and tasteless, and therefore hard to detect. It is in the exhaust of every motor vehicle. This makes it essential that you keep a constant check on your exhaust system for leaks.
Never run your engine in a closed garage. Maintain good ventilation in the cab when you drive. Don't follow too closely behind another car that has a smoking exhaust.
If you get dizzy or drowsy while driving, stop, get out and get plenty of fresh air.Previous page Next page
