Vehicle Standards

All vehicles operated in Saskatchewan must be in compliance with the equipment requirements and maintained to the standards contained in The Vehicle Equipment Regulations. The requirements and standards are applicable to all vehicles that must be registered for highway use in Saskatchewan. This includes passenger vehicles, heavy trucks, power units, trailers, semi-trailers, buses and highway coaches, motorcycles, snowmobiles and vintage vehicles.
