Travelling in and outside of Saskatchewan

If the farm vehicle’s registered gross vehicle weight is 4,500 kg or more and you are leaving the province at any time, you must obtain a Certificate of Safety Fitness from a motor licence issuer or you may contact Carrier Safety Programs toll-free at 1-800-667-8015 ext. 6667.

The first certificate is issued free of charge. If the certificate is lost, any issuer can do a re-print for a cost of $10. Place a photocopy of the original in all your vehicles and keep the original in a safe place.
