10th Annual SGI CANADA Charity Road Race
All ages are welcome to run in the 10K and 5K Road Races and the 2K Family Walk on Sunday, June 14, 2009.
Events start and finish at the SGI CANADA building in downtown Regina at 2260 – 11th Avenue.
8:25 a.m. - wheelchair start
8:30 a.m. - 5K, 10K and Family Walk start
All proceeds go to Kids Help Phone, Canada’s only toll-free, national, bilingual, phone and web counselling, referral and information service for children and youth.
How to enter
Entries must be received no later than Thursday, June 4 and will be confirmed by mail once fees are received.

For a $40 fee, late registration will be provided on Saturday, June 13 at SGI CANADA Head Office, 2260 – 11th Avenue, Regina.
Age categories
Age categories for both male and female runners are as follows:
5K and 10K
19 and under
20 to 29
30 to 39
40 to 49
50 to 59
60 to 69
70 and over
Prizes
10K and 10K wheelchair overall winners
Prize money and medals will be awarded at the event to the top three male and female finishers overall in the race as follows:
- 1st place - $400
- 2nd place - $300
- 3rd place - $200
10K age category winners
The top three male and female finishers in each age category of the 10K race will receive the following by mail following the event:
- 1st place - $75
- 2nd place - $50
- 3rd place - $25
5K age category winners
The top three male and female finishers in each race category of the 5K race will receive medals. Overall winners are not eligible for age category prizes.

- Post-event lunch at the Delta Regina Hotel
- Race Results mailed to all 5K and 10K runners

Race kits
Your race kit includes your timing chip, race number, water bottle, lunch ticket and other event details. It can be picked up on Saturday, June 13 between 1 and 4 p.m. at SGI CANADA Head Office, 2260 – 11th Avenue, Regina or on race day from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m.
Post-race activities
The awards ceremony and lunch will be held at the Delta Regina Hotel following the Charity Road Race at 10:30 a.m.
Guests may purchase lunch tickets in advance or at the door for $10 per person. There is no charge for lunch for children 6 and under.
