Reporting someone with a medical condition
If someone you know has a medical condition that is affecting their ability to drive safely, you can report your concerns to the Medical Review Unit (MRU).
Your report must include:
- the person’s name
- their approximate age
- specific concerns or incidents
If you don’t have this information, and only know the vehicle’s licence plate number, you should report your concerns to your local police service. They may be able to determine the identity of the driver and forward this information to SGI for further investigation.
Email your report to the MRU or complete the Confidential Report form and mail it to:
SGI Medical Review Unit
2260-11th Ave.
Regina, SK S4P 0J9
The MRU will investigate your concerns and may request a medical report from the individual. The MRU does not accept anonymous reports; however, your identity will remain confidential. Likewise, we will not disclose the status of our investigation or any other information about the driver to you.
