Graduated Driver's Licensing Program

Graduated Driver’s Licensing is a staged introduction of new drivers into the driving environment. Drivers gradually move into higher risk driving situations after gaining experience in lower risk situations. The program replaced the Probationary Drivers Program, which provided new drivers with full driving privileges and which took action only after they were involved in collisions or received traffic convictions.

Graduated licence programs work to save lives and prevent injuries among new drivers.

If you have any questions about the Graduated Driver’s Licencing Program, please contact sgiinquiries@sgi.sk.ca or call our SGI Customer Service Centre at 1-800-667-9868.
