Motorcycle Learners Endorsement ‘6’

A ‘6’ endorsement on a Class 1 to 5 and 7 licence gives you authority to operate a motorcycle for learning purposes only, provided you:

• pass the required supplementary knowledge tests
• meet minimum medical and vision standards
• are at least 16 years of age

Endorsement restrictions

Holders of the endorsement ‘6’ are subject to the following restrictions:

• You cannot operate a motorcycle from 1/2 an hour after sunset until 1/2 an hour before sunrise.
• You cannot carry passengers.
• You must operate within a 100 km radius of the main or secondary address shown on your motorcycle registration.
