IRP/Prorate
|
Please note:
Starting on Feb. 18, all IRP payments will be collected in Canadian funds. This will eliminate the wiring of US funds and issuing of US cheques.

The International Registration Plan (IRP) is a registration reciprocity
agreement among the Provinces of Canada and the United States.
Saskatchewan is a member of the IRP.
Below you will find the following forms that may be required when processing IRP transactions and applying for Prorate.
If you have any questions about the IRP or require assistance
when completing any of the forms, contact Branch and IRP Issuing
at 306-751-1250 or by fax at 306-359-0867.

IRP/NSC Application:
If you are registering IRP (prorate) base plating in the province of Saskatchewan, you must have a Saskatchewan Certificate of Safety Fitness/NSC.
The International Registration Plan (IRP) allows the base jurisdiction to register vehicles on behalf of any member jurisdiction in which the commercial carrier wishes to travel. Prorate registration issued by Saskatchewan does not preclude any jurisdictional requirements that may exist in those jurisdictions.
If you wish to travel extraprovincially by obtaining prorate registration, complete the IRP/NSC application along with the enclosed SK-IRP forms and mail to Branch & IRP Issuing, 2260-11th Ave, Regina, Sk. S4P 2N7.
If you have any questions about the International Registration Plan (IRP) or require assistance when completing any of the forms, contact Branch & IRP Issuing at 306-751-1250 or by fax at 306-359-0867.
SK-IRP Forms:
SK-IRP forms must be printed on 8 1/2 x 14 (legal size)
paper. Ensure your printer is set accordingly. Print two copies
of the completed form if you would like a copy for your records
as you will be unable to save data typed into the forms.
