2010 Green Rebate program

The Green Rebate program is part of the provincial government’s commitment to the "go green" plan.

To encourage Saskatchewan residents to be more environmentally friendly, the government is providing a 20% rebate on basic insurance premiums and registration fees paid for the 2009 calendar year.

The Green Rebate is provided to owners of all hybrid vehicles, as well as vehicle models from 2006 and newer that meet Transport Canada’s ecoAUTO thresholds for fuel efficiency. For details review the list of eligible vehicles.

Both privately and commercially-registered vehicles are eligible for the 2010 rebate. The list of eligible vehicles will help you to determine if your vehicle qualifies for the 2010 rebate.

It is not necessary to apply for your rebate. Owners of qualifying vehicles will receive their cheques by mail in February.
