No Purchase Necessary. Saskatchewan Government Insurance (the “Contest Sponsor”) is sponsoring the Cash in on Your Email Contest (the “Contest”). The Contest will commence on February 1, 2012 and run up to and including January 31, 2013 (the “Contest Period”).
There will be twenty-four (24) random draws for one of twenty-four (24) prepaid VISA gift cards, each with an approximate retail value of $100 CAD (the “Contest Prize” or “Contest Prizes”) during the Contest Period. Two entries will be drawn on each of: Thursday March 1, 2012; Monday April 2, 2012; Tuesday May 1, 2012; Friday June 1, 2012; Tuesday July 3, 2012; Wednesday August 1, 2012; Tuesday September 4, 2012; Monday October 1, 2012; Thursday November 1, 2012; Monday December 3, 2012; Wednesday January 2, 2013; and Monday February 4, 2013 in Regina, Saskatchewan by 11:00:00 a.m. CST or as soon thereafter. A random draw will be conducted by the Contest Sponsor from all eligible entries received during each month of the Contest Period through all eligible entry methods to select a potential winner of a Contest Prize (the “Draw”).
To enter the Contest, simply provide your email address to Saskatchewan Government Insurance during one of the months in the Contest Period and you will be automatically entered. This can be done by contacting Saskatchewan Government Insurance at 1-800-667-9868 or through any Saskatchewan Government Insurance motor licence issuer. In the alternative, you may send your name, address and telephone number to the Cash in on Your Email Contest, Information Services 3rd floor, 2260- 11th Avenue Regina, Saskatchewan S4P 0J9.
The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for late, lost or destroyed entries. Limit of one entry per person in the Contest, regardless of method of entry. In the event it is discovered that an entrant attempted to enter more than once all of the entrant's entries will be void.
To be eligible for a Contest Prize, entries must be received in the following time frames:
- February 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to February 29, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- March 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to March 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- April 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to April 30, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- May 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to May 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- June 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to June 30, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- July 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to July 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- August 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to August 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- September 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to September 30, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- October 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to October 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- November 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to November 30, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST;
- December 1, 2012 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to December 31, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST; and
- January 1, 2013 at 12:00:01 a.m. CST to January 31, 2013 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST.
Limit of one (1) Contest Prize per person during the Contest. Any costs or expenses incurred by the winner in claiming the Contest Prize will be the responsibility of the Draw winner. By entering the Contest, entrants and selected entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsor and their directors, employees, officers, agents and affiliates from any injury, loss or damage of any kind to persons or property, including but not limited to death, resulting in whole or in part directly or indirectly from the acceptance, receipt, possession, use or misuse of an awarded Contest Prize, participation in any Contest-related activity including any travel related thereto and/or participation in the Contest. Odds of winning a Contest Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during each month of the Contest Period.
In order to win a Contest Prize, the selected entrants will be contacted by email and/or phone, and must each correctly answer a mathematical skill testing question without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, and must be eligible according to the Contest Rules. In the event a selected entrant cannot be contacted within 21 days of the Draw, another random Draw will be conducted by the Contest Sponsor. All winners will be required to sign a standard Release form releasing the Contest Sponsor from all liability, affirming eligibility with all Contest Rules, publicity consent and any other release/document as requested by the Contest Sponsor. A completed Release form must be returned within ten (10) days following receipt, unless another return date is indicated, or the Contest Prize may be forfeited.
The Contest is open to all legal residents of Saskatchewan who have reached the age of majority. All decisions of the Contest Sponsor are final and the Contest Sponsor shall not be held responsible for any accident, negligence, printing, administrative or other errors that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, or modify the Contest Rules at any time for any reason whatsoever.
The Contest Prize must be accepted as awarded, are non-refundable and non-transferable. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting the Contest Rules by mail or requesting names of the Contest Prize winners (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). By entering this Contest, the entrants consent to the use of their name, city of residence, video image, and/or photograph in any related publicity or Internet posting without compensation or notification.
Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process. The Contest Sponsor will not be liable for any human or technical errors that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by the Contest Sponsor as a result of technical problems or human error, or any combination thereof. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the contest sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
In the event of a dispute, entries made by email submission will be declared made by the Authorized Account Holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address.
This Contest is governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the laws of Canada applicable therein, and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
