Skid prevention technology

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) is a safety technology that helps prevent or reduce sideways movement of vehicles, which may lead to skidding. It decreases the likelihood of a vehicle going into a skid so you can get it back under control. It can also reduce engine power, which prevents the wheels from spinning when the road is slippery.
