Road safety

We want to prevent deaths, serious injuries and property damage on Saskatchewan roads.

To achieve these goals, we aim to:

  • reduce impaired driving (including impairment by drugs)
  • reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions
  • reduce distracted driving
  • increase seatbelt use
  • promote speed management
  • increase intersection safety
  • educate new drivers

We work towards meeting these objectives by developing a number of innovative traffic safety initiatives and educating drivers to further help in saving lives and reducing injuries.

Our traffic safety statistics will give you the quick facts on collision statistics while our traffic collision statistics report supplies you with more detailed information.
