1, 2, 3, 4 - Professional learners

A Class 2, 3, 4 or 5 licence may be endorsed so you can learn to operate a higher class of vehicle.

A Class 2, 3, 4 or 5 licence may be endorsed to allow you to learn to operate any higher class of vehicle provided you:

• are at least 18 years of age and are not a novice driver
• have passed the appropriate knowledge tests and have filed a medical certificate pursuant to approved standards
• are accompanied by a driver who holds and has held a valid licence to that class of vehicle for 365 days within the last 3 years.
