If you have No Fault Coverage

An injury representative will be assigned to you and will:

  • explain what will happen during the claim process
  • gather information about the incident and your injuries
  • advise you of the benefits you are entitled to receive
  • obtain medical information from your doctors if needed
  • gather information concerning your employment

You'll need to complete an application for benefits form. Your doctor, physiotherapist or chiropractor must indicate the cause and nature of your injuries. Further reports may be needed from your care provider throughout your injury claim.

If you have Tort Coverage

Call an injury claims centre in Regina at 306-775-6000 or toll free at 1-800-667-9779. Advise the person who answers that you have Tort Coverage and you will then be assigned an adjuster.

An adjuster will assist you with your claim by gathering details about the crash and your injuries. After determining who caused the collision, the adjuster will:

  • outline the next steps in the claim process
  • share the benefits you are entitled to receive - even if you're found at fault
  • obtain medical information from your doctors
  • gather information concerning your employment

When you're ready to settle the claim, your adjuster will discuss settlement with you and make every effort to agree on a fair settlement value.

If you wish to sue the responsible party (or parties), you must start legal action within 2 years of the date of the collision. In the case of a minor, the legal action must be started within 2 years after the minor reaches 18 years of age.
