Employees in the community

If you feel passionately about your community, there are several ways you can get involved as an SGI employee.

• Volunteer or participate at community events we sponsor.
• Join 1 of our fundraising committees to raise money for charity.
• Support fundraising activities and make charitable donations.

Employee Philanthropy program

Through our Employee Philanthropy program, we provide donations to the community initiatives in Saskatchewan that are important to our employees:

• Arts and culture
• Health
• Environment
• Education
• Business

The program is governed by a staff representative committee called the Community Action Team (CAT). CAT ensures employees have a say in the type of events and organizations that SGI supports. That way, we can make meaningful contributions to initiatives where our employees live and work.
