Education scholarships

We value higher education and recognize that post-secondary education is important and often essential for today's youth.

To help Saskatchewan students accomplish their education goals, we've partnered with universities and organizations to offer the scholarships below.

SGI Corporate Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students who are enrolled in a certificate, diploma or degree program - related to SGI business needs - at an accredited post-secondary institute in Saskatchewan, Alberta and Manitoba .

SGI Anniversary Scholarship

This program is open to children and legal dependants of SGI and its wholly-owned subsidiaries. Recipients may receive only 1 SGI scholarship during their studies.

Business Insurance Diploma Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in the 2nd year of the SIAST Business Insurance Diploma Program.

Auto Body Technician Certificate Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in the SIAST Auto Body Technician Certificate program.

Stan Hamilton Scholarship

As part of SGI's continuing efforts to encourage Aboriginal people to pursue post-secondary education, this scholarship is awarded to a Saskatchewan Aboriginal student who is attending the First Nations University of Canada.

Insurance and Risk Management Scholarship

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in the Insurance and Risk Management diploma program at Grant MacEwan Unisersity in Edmonton, AB.

Risk Management and Insurance Scholarship

This scholarship is open to Saskatchewan students enrolled in the Haskayne School of Business with a concentration in Risk Management and Insurance (RMIN) at the University of Calgary.

SGI Actuarial Science Scholarship

This scholarship is available to students enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of study at the University of Regina in the Faculty of Science's Actuarial Science program.

SGI Research Grant

These grants are available to select University of Regina graduate students whose thesis research involves engineering or human factor issues related to traffic safety.
