Autobody Technician Certificate

Two scholarships for the program will be awarded on an annual basis, with 1 scholarship per year designated for diversity students.

Criteria

This scholarship is open to students enrolled in the Auto Body Technician Certificate program at SIAST Wascana Campus and SIAST Kelsey Campus.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Be enrolled full-time in the Auto Body Technician Certificate Program at the SIAST Kelsey campus or the SIAST Wascana Campus.
2. For the diversity scholarship, self-declare as a diversity student with SIAST.

Selection criteria:

• Academic achievement (75% Weighting)
• Financial need (25% Weighting)

Value

Two $2,500 scholarships will be awarded annually each spring.

Application process

Students apply directly to SIAST. Students may download the application from the SIAST website or pick up applications at the Wascana and Kelsey Campuses.

Employment

SGI will not guarantee employment for award recipients; however may give the recipients preferential consideration for employment following the completion of their studies.

Recipients are not obliged to work for SGI during, or at the completion of, the educational program.
