SGI CANADA junior golf championship a swinging success!

The fifth annual SGI CANADA Junior Order of Merit Tour Championship took place on Aug. 19 and 20 in Regina.

More than 120 of Saskatchewan's best young golfers showcased their talents during the two-day event. The SGI CANADA Junior Order of Merit Championship Tour, which teed off in early May, featured more than 40 golf tournaments throughout Saskatchewan.

"SGI CANADA and our participating brokers from across the province are proud to sponsor an event of this magnitude," said Andrew Cartmell, President and CEO of SGI CANADA. "This championship tour showcases talented golfers with a strong work ethic and competitive spirit as well as provides positive opportunities for Saskatchewan's future leaders."

"With the outstanding support and vision of SGI CANADA and their brokers, the Junior Order of Merit Tour Championship was once again a resounding success" said Daniel Rauckman, Executive Director of the Saskatchewan Golf Association. "All participants should proud of their accomplishments, not only in the championship rounds but throughout the SGI CANADA tour."
