Auto eClaim makes claims process easier
October 13, 2009
Winter driving in Saskatchewan can be stressful - filing an auto collision claim doesn't have to be.
SGI encourages all motorists to use the auto eClaim registration service if they have been in a collision. Auto eClaim is available every day, including evenings and weekends and is located in our Online Services.
"SGI's auto eClaim service is designed to make filing an auto claim and booking a damage appraisal easier and more convenient for our customers," says Earl Cameron, SGI Vice-President of Claims and Salvage. "We understand how stressful an auto collision can be. If an electronic option for filing an auto claim can reduce this stress in any way, it's worth it."
From October 2008 to March 2009 over 96,000 collision claims were reported to SGI.
Since its inception in 2004, close to 50,000 SGI customers have used the auto eClaim service.
Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) is the province's self-sustaining auto insurance fund. SGI operates 21 claims centres and five salvage centres across Saskatchewan and a head office in Regina. SGI also works with a network of almost 300 independent insurance brokers and 420 motor licence issuers across the province.
