Your online security
We use encryption and authentication tools to protect the security of the personal information that you share with us. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to or from our website, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will do our best to protect its security on our systems.
We urge you to keep your password in a safe place and not to divulge it to anyone. Remember to sign off and close your browser window when you have finished your visit. Use of website cookies
There are 2 types of cookies:
- Session cookies are used only for the length of time you stay on the website. When you leave the website, they expire and are no longer active. We use session cookies to enable us to better serve you when you visit www.sgi.sk.ca.
- Persistent cookies are more permanent and can be re-read when you return to the website that placed them on your computer. We use persistent cookies from time to time to prevent 1-time events from occurring during subsequent user visits. This often applies to message or survey pop-ups.
You can choose not to accept cookies. You may do this by setting your browser options to inform you when cookies are being sent. Alternately, you can set these options to deny cookies altogether.
Note: By not accepting cookies you may limit the functionality that we can provide to you when you visit our website.
