Congratulations to our scholarship recipients

Eleven students are receiving a financial boost from SGI’s 2011 anniversary and corporate scholarships.
The SGI Anniversary Scholarships are given to the children or dependants of the employees of SGI and its subsidiaries. SGI Corporate Scholarships are given to students who are enrolled in degree, diploma or certificate programs that relate to SGI’s business needs. The accredited post-secondary institute must be in Alberta, Saskatchewan or Manitoba.
Recipients of the SGI Anniversary Scholarships:
- Brittany Bray - Currently enrolled in Business Administration at the University of Regina. Upon graduation, Britany plans to pursue a career in Human Resources.
- Spencer Giles - Currently enrolled in Business Administration at the University of Regina. Spencer is interested in pursuing a career in Marketing.
- Piper New - Currently enrolled in Architectural and Interior Technologies at SIAST. Upon graduation, Piper plans to pursue a MCI Master of Architecture.
- Ethan Runge - Currently enrolled in Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan, with an interest in Engineering Physics.
- Brandon Tarasoff - Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. Brandon is specializing in Mechanical Engineering and is interested in working in the field of sustainable energy production.
Recipients of the SGI Corporate Scholarships:
- Justin Anderson - Currently enrolled in Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan. Upon completion, Justin plans to pursue entrepreneurship and/or a corporate career.
- Stacy Bennett - Currently enrolled Commerce at the University of Saskatchewan. Stacy is interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources Management.
- Jennifer Dubois - Currently enrolled in Business Administration at the First Nations University of Canada. Upon completion, Jennifer is interested in a variety of career opportunities including communications, human resources and/or entrepreneurship.
- Karlyn Signo - Currently enrolled in Business Administration at the University of Regina. Karlyn plans to pursue a career in Accounting.
- Kaylee Sparrowhawk - Currently enrolled in Business Administration at the University of Regina. Kaylee is interested in pursuing a career in accounting or marketing.
- Brooklyn Thorpe - Currently enrolled in the Arts program at the University of Saskatchewan. Upon completion, Brooklyn hopes to be accepted into the College of Law.
