SGI computer system down Feb. 13 to 17

From Feb. 13 to 17, SGI is implementing upgrades to its computer system. Most SGI issuing offices will still be open during this period, but will only be conducting limited business using manual forms. Customers are encouraged to complete their transactions prior to Feb. 13 if possible.
Issuing offices
During our system outage from Feb. 13 to 17, SGI issuing offices will still be able to meet most of your needs, but transactions will be done manually so it will take a little longer. We encourage customers with February driver or vehicle renewals to complete their transactions prior to Feb. 13 if possible.
Some issuers may change their hours or close the issuing service in their offices during that week. To learn more, view the list of issuer availability for Feb. 12 to 17.
Note: All SGI offices will be closed for the Family Day holiday on Monday, Feb. 15.
Online services
The Saskatchewan Damage Claims History Search will be available from Feb. 13 to 17; however, the results for this service between Feb. 13 and 17 will only be current as of Feb. 12.
The Cross-Canada VIN Search will not be available Feb. 13 to 17.
In addition, both the Saskatchewan Damage Claims History Search and the Cross-Canada VIN Search will be unavailable from Feb. 19 to 21 due to a claims systems implementation.
Driver abstracts
During the Feb. 13 to 17 implementation period, driver abstracts will not be available. If you have questions, please call 775-6059 in Regina or toll free 1-800-667-8015 ext. 6059.
Driver testing
There will be no driver testing from Feb. 12 to 17, and SGI will not be able to book any appointments from Feb. 12 to 18.
AutoPay monthly payments
AutoPay monthly withdrawals will be suspended from Feb. 12 to 17. Withdrawals that would normally come out during that period will instead occur beginning on Feb. 18. It may take a few days for all withdrawals to come out.
