SGI campaign puts the 'DUH' in 'DUI'
May 13, 2010
To those who choose to drink and then drive - at SGI we say: 'Duh.'
It's only 3 simple letters and yet the message is absolutely clear - drinking and driving is dumb.
The clever message is part of SGI's new advertising campaign geared towards preventing alcohol-related injuries and fatalities on our province's roadways. The reality is, while most of us believe drinking and then driving is reckless, uninformed and self-centered, there are those who continue to get behind the wheel after drinking, ignoring all the consequences when they do.
The new campaign will be officially rolled out on billboards and electronic signs across the province in May and June to coincide with graduation season and warm weather celebrations that typically include alcoholic beverages.
You can view the campaign billboard and the restaurant eBoard on our Drinking and driving awareness campaigns page.
